Bathing and cleaning with EcoWater

When you first experience EcoWater you will feel the difference.

You will find you need to use a lot less bath products, up to half as much as you are used to.  You may find it easier to control the amount of liquid soap you use.

You will be able to cut down on the soap powder you use for your laundry.  In most washes use 50% less product.  Too much lather means clothes will not rinse properly.

Cleaning sinks, baths and basins – you will find that your cleaning chores are greatly reduced.  A quick wipe round is all that is needed.

Looking after your water softener

Once you have EcoWater installed there is little need to do but keep the water softener topped up with tablet salt.  The rolling screens on your EcoWater softener will indicate the level of salt left in your water softener.

Looking after your drinking water filters

Carbon cartridges for the Eco-Fresh, Eco-Safe Filter and Reverse Osmosis System – we recommend changing every 6 months.

Membrane for the reverse osmosis system – we recommend changing every 3 years.

Going on holiday

It is always good practice to turn off your mains water when you are away from your home for a long period of time.

When you are away and water is not being used in the house, your EcoWater water softener will not recharge, so no salt or water will be wasted.

If you turn off your electricity when you are away, all you need to do is reset the clock when you come back.  All other information will be retained by the water softener.
